Ivy Heights

ECSG provided consulting and energy modeling services for NGBS and AEGB certification of Ivy Heights, a new residential development in South Austin, TX. The project consists of eight four-story buildings with 300 one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, designed for comfort, modern style, and long-term environmental responsibility. Sustainable features include energy-efficient lighting, Energy Star appliances, enhanced insulation and envelope performance, high-efficiency HVAC systems, low-flow plumbing fixtures, low-emitting finishes, EV charging stations, and bike-friendly infrastructure. These measures contributed to performance achievements in Site, Energy, Water, Materials, and Indoor Environmental Quality categories. The project achieved NGBS Gold certification under the 2020 National Green Building Standard and a 1-Star certification under the Austin Energy Green Building program, reflecting the team’s commitment to sustainability and high-performance building practices.
