New LEED v4.1 Ask the Experts sessions: June 2020

Get your questions answered about LEED’s approach to health care and materials.

Do you have questions about how LEED v4.1 address materials differently? Are you wondering about the latest developments for health care projects?

In June, you will have two opportunities to connect directly with USGBC subject matter experts to learn more about LEED and get answers to your specific questions. Each one-hour live session is also eligible for 1 GBCI CE credit (LEED-specific).

Ask the Experts: Materials

This session dives into the approach to materials taken in LEED v4.1. Attendees will learn how LEED projects are benefiting from Materials and Resources credit substitutions; hear about the impacts from the credit changes to support circular economy, supply chain sustainability and healthy materials; and get a quick demo of the new Better Materials platform and the new LEED calculator forms. You’ll also learn about the new pilot credits on circularity and embodied carbon.

LEED technical develop staff, along with the chair (Dirk Kestner, of Walter P. Moore) and vice chair (William Paddock, of WAP Sustainability Consulting) of USGBC’s Materials and Resources Technical Advisory Group, will provide overviews and demos and answer your questions.
